Salary • Stipendio
– e.g. She complained that her salary was low.

Sick Leave • Congedo per malattia
– e.g. I have been on sick leave for seven months with depression.

Recruit • Reclutare
– e.g. I have been on sick leave for seven months with depression.

Resign • Dare le dimissioni
– e.g. I offered to let him resign rather than fire him.

Retire • Andare in pensione
– e.g. She was on track to retire before 50.

Raise • Aumento
– e.g. The problem is how to raise the funds.

Promotion • Promozione
– e.g. It was great till he took that promotion.

Minimum Wage • Salario minimo
– e.g. So I’ve gone from maximum profits to minimum wage.

Maternity Leave • Congedo di maternità
– e.g. Elizabeth is now on maternity leave

Trial Period • Periodo di prova
