La Differenza Tra Before e Earlier In Lingua Inglese

Oggi analizziamo due termini come al solito parecchio confusi: diamo una occhiata alla differenza tra before e earlier.

Earlier – prima, in anticipo, presto

Si usa come o aggettivo o avverbio.

?Can we meet at an earlier hour tonight? (aggettivo)
?If we had left earlier, we would have been on time (avverbio)

Before – prima, prima di, prima che 

Si usa come preposizione, congiunzione, o avverbio.

?Before you can start applying to jobs, you need to make sure that your CV is perfect. (preposizione)
?Can we meet before you leave for London? (congiunzione)
?If we had left before, we would have been on time. (avverbio)
